The SkinCare center is a subsidiary of Dermatology Associates of Knoxville, P.C. Our physicians, Dr. Toivo Rist and Dr. Edward Primka III, along with our physician’s assistants, work with our staff of registered nurses and licensed aestheticians to deliver in-depth expertise as the basis for all skin care treatments. The SkinCare Center is your one-stop shop for dermatological care, luxurious skin treatments, custom cosmetics and a variety of progressive programs that correct and repair minor and major skin flaws.

Dr. Toivo Rist holds an undergraduate degree from Emory University (1966) and a Doctor of Medicine from Medical College of Georgia (1970). He completed an internship at USAF Medical Center, Kessler AFB, Mississippi (1970-1971). Dr. Rist then fulfilled his residency at Medical College of Georgia (1971-1974). Dr. Rist has done clinical research for more than 20 years and has been awarded “Best Doctors in America Award” in 1999, 2000, and 2001.

Dr. Edward Primka holds an undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina (1988) in Biology. He fulfilled his residency program at Cleveland Clinic Foundation Department of Dermatology in Cleveland, Ohio (1992-1996). Dr. Primka is a certified Mohs surgeon and is also involved in clinical trials. Dr. Primka is married and is the father of three boys.
