I would seriously consider some training for your dog! The cost to repair this depending on the quality of leather would be in the $400 to $600 range.

I heard of this happening before and I need to ask you if your sofa is still under warranty because this is a definite fabric defect. (Normal fabric warranties are for 1 year) Their are different qualities of microfiber and you must have a non backed version which is cheaper and possibly could bleed through. I would suggest you should return this sofa to the store you bought it at. I really do' know how to seal a color on a defective fabric, This fabric wasn't properly dyed or absorbed into the polyester fiber during the colorization process. Without a backing on the fabric, it could have been painted on or something. Their could also be moisture in your fabric which is causing the problem.   « less

Picking the right color schemes, fabrics, art, accessories etc., to coordinate and work together can create a sense of anxiety. Choosing the right decorator is always a hard choice because their are some many qualified professionals in this area. It all depends on who can share your vision. It's hard for me to recommend any one person or company because each person has their own trademark for their design work and style. The best advice I can give you is to define the style your wanting to achieve, Casual elegance, Modern, Old world, Rustic, Traditional etc., and go to the store that best exemplifies your personel taste and ask if they have decorating services available. Word of mouth is also a very credible source for decorating, either from friends or an aquaintance who has had a positve experience. Another idea for contacts is going through some of the model homes being built around knoxville which are fully decorated by local designers. Once I see your problem I while be able to guide you through the right procedure. I also need to know the manufacture if possible. Also knowing the manufacture and date of purchase I can determine if your chair is under warranty. Depending on where the hole is you can either have the fabric replaced or repaired but we need to match the color dylot. If neither of these choices are convenient then please bring your chair by my store and ask for Greg in customer service and we'll determine at that point which direction to take. Their version is 36" round pub table with a copper top. We do carry the barstools to this group, but would have to order the table and it takes about 4 weeks. 01-23-2007 - John, I would recommend a microfiber sofa. Microfiber is one of the most durable fabrics on the market.Amazingly stains and spills wipe right off. It has a real soft suede feel and comes in a variety of colors. Microfiber sofa's are also inexpensive starting at $299. The next choice I would recommend would be polyurethane which looks and feel like leather. This type of fabric is also easy to care for and starts at $399. It would be real simple to have a one price strategy, however, competition between different retailers somtimes dictates price on a particular item. Hopefully the store you select, has done their homework and is priced where they need to be.   « less
