21. Ok ...I am a amputee LBE but on my left arm just dwn from my shoulder the Doctor took a big area of tissue to try to save my hand. Now that aera looks like heck.(btw Lost hand to infection) but I got big scar with indention where the tissue was...Is there anything to use to help it blend in better??? or be more smoother??? 22. Can Prednisone worsen acne? My daughter whom is 13 years old, is being treated for acne with Rosula wash, Duac gel and Doxycycline. Her skin was doing fairly well. An acute asthma episode required 4 days of prednisone, plus a shot of the same. Now, her skin is erupting in what appears to be cystic acne. If the prednisone is to blame. 23. Has there been any advance in some type of treatment for Vitiligo? I have had it for about 10 years and have and a little luck with Protopic .1%.     I assume you mean complexion and not complex. There are two types of over-the-counter agents for complexions. One contains salicylic acid and the other contains benzoyl peroxide. You certainly could use both of these products on her face, one in the form of a wash and the other in the form of a leave-on product. If this is not effective, then the remaining treatments are prescription products which would need to be prescribed from a doctor.   « less

29. I have terrible recurring eczema on the palms of my hands. I received a steroid shot and some Vanos cream at your offices, and it cleared up quite nicely in a couple of weeks. However, stopping and starting the Vanos as required due to its strength has caused my eczema to return with a vengeance. I use a salicylic acid lotion during the times I am not using the Vanos to try and minimize the thickening skin. There are some nonsteroidal medicines that can help to control it and can be used continuously without the need for a break.    « less
