This can be dangerous because if the problem is not corrected soon it may lead to gangrene and loss of the digit. Ankle fractures do take time to heal. Being in a walking boot for 2 months will also take time to readjust to a normal walking stance. So this is probably just a normal healing process for you to get through. However, the addition of physical therapy to assist you in resuming a normal pain-free gait may be in order. Talk to your doctor about utilizing physical therapy.
